Our mission
Koafer was born from a simple frustration: finding a local event shouldn't mean digging through ten different websites. Between noisy social media feeds, tourist offices that only cover their own town, and the near-total lack of accessibility information, finding something to do was a chore. Koafer brings it all together — from the neighborhood garage sale to the regional festival — so everyone can find their next outing, anywhere in France.
Farmers markets, concerts, creative workshops, flea markets, festivals, or outdoor sports sessions—Koafer lists every kind of event, no exceptions.
Our story
Launched in December 2025, Koafer started from a daily frustration: having to check multiple websites to find an event, getting lost in social media noise, or running into tourist offices too local to search beyond a single town. On top of that, accessibility information for people with reduced mobility was nearly impossible to find — an afterthought on most existing platforms.
The name Koafer comes from the French «quoi faire» — “what to do” — the question everyone asks before heading out, whether it’s a Friday night, a rainy Sunday, or the first day of the holidays. Koafer now aggregates events across all of France, from the most intimate to the most popular, so anyone can plan their outing — tonight, this weekend, during the holidays, or last minute.
